State of the art Facilities

From its innovative academic buildings to sophisticated labs to creative dining halls, USF boasts exceptional facilities. Here are just a few of the favorite spots on campus.

The Campus Recreation Center, ranked among the top facilities in the U.S., offers a diverse range of amenities for all. Alongside state-of-the-art equipment, there’s a heated indoor pool and indoor track. For those craving outdoor adventure, there’s a ropes course, disc golf course, and opportunities for canoeing and kayaking, perfect for enjoying Florida’s renowned weather.

At Argos Flip Kitchen, an innovative fast-casual concept awaits. With two rotating menu “flips,” diners can enjoy salads, smoothies, flatbreads, and globally-inspired rice bowls from the core menu, alongside featured flip menus such as Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese and Artisan Pizzas.

The Interdisciplinary Sciences Building, a signature seven-story structure, houses two 300-seat auditoriums, modern classrooms, and research labs for the physics, biology, and chemistry departments. Notably, it’s one of two LEED Gold Certified buildings on campus.

The Library, affectionately dubbed “Club Lib,” serves as a popular spot for students to study, collaborate, and utilize resources like the Tutoring Center and Writing Studio. Open 24 hours a day, four days a week, it even boasts a Starbucks inside.

Located at the heart of campus, the Marshall Student Center is a hub for student activity, offering a food court, gaming center, credit union, print shop, Amazon Locker, and offices for various student organizations.

For convenient food shopping, there’s a Publix grocery store right on campus—the only one of its kind on a college campus.

Though technically off-campus, Raymond James Stadium serves as the shared home for USF Football and the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, offering world-class sporting events.

With a variety of on-campus eateries, including Bento Sushi, Chick-fil-A, Panera Bread, and Starbucks, students have a plethora of dining options to choose from without leaving campus.

The Yuengling Center hosts USF Basketball and Volleyball games, as well as concerts, comedy shows, and other entertainment events throughout the year, all conveniently located on campus.

The Village Residential Community, an innovative complex, features five suite and traditional style residence halls. It also includes The Fit, a recreation and wellness center with high-tech exercise equipment and a resort-style pool, and The Hub, a dining hall offering various food concepts like Mongolian Grill and fresh sushi.
