Unique real estate academic features

The Real Estate and Development (RED) major at UC San Diego stands out as one of the nation’s most extensive undergraduate programs in its field. It acknowledges the evolving landscape of real estate development and the necessity for future innovators to grasp the interplay between real estate finance, data analysis, urban planning and design, environmental regulations, and emerging technologies. Recognizing the value of blending academic theory with practical experience, the program offers professional development opportunities and leverages the San Diego-Tijuana city-region as an active learning environment for hands-on, project-based education.
