To help with these challenges, ASH RAE developed Standard 100 to provide basic targets to set, the process to achieve the targets and a methodology for repeating the process.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike many codes and standards, Standard 100 offers solid guidance for commercial buildings and also has methods for identifying excess energy usage in residential and mixed-use properties, frequently an overlooked source of emissions, energy consumption and expenses.
