From artsy Southwest capital city to West Coast beach destination to Midwest garden city suburb, each place is rich in geography, culture and history. It\u2019s no accident that each city has served as the backdrop of notable movies and recent Netflix and Hulu specials. These places have a unique collection of characteristics that connect with people and foster sense of place.<\/p>\n
These 3 cities, each under 100,000 population, also have long-standing commitments to sustainability and quality of life and are actively engaged in the LEED for Cities program. For this webinar, we\u2019ll engage leaders from each city to talk about how their uniqueness has shaped their approach to sustainability. We\u2019ll learn about each city\u2019s story \u2013 how they were designed and developed, who lives and works there, what the political climate is like and what drives the local economy. We\u2019ll uncover how those local conditions affect their pathway to sustainability \u2013 what are the local priorities? What do residents care most about?
