As we enter into what we’re calling the second generation of USGBC, we’re focused on four pillars: sustainability, health and wellness, resilience, and equity. When we think about USGBC and LEED, we think about each of these topics and how they can be leveraged to raise the living standard for all. Join us for a conversation on equity – what does the term mean to different audiences and how can we raise the living standard through sustainability?
Local leaders will share information on the Advance Campaign for Social Equity and identify ways to connect community organizations with experts and resources to create sustainability plans to grow stronger, more resilient communities. Project teams from across North Carolina will share their Advance work and progress towards stronger, more sustainable communities.
