Role of Public Agencies Amid Covid-19

During an economic downturn the public agencies lead the way in helping revive the investment cycle through public spending and policies. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has demanded that the public leaders think of out of the box solutions to help the economic activity in the region, especially due to a shortfall in the public budget. In addition, this pandemic has provided an opportunity for the leaders to re-think about what type of growth is required in the region.
