An Environmental Justice Program on Equitable Green Space & Parks in the Southern Gateway

Join ULIDFW and Harmony CDC for an engaging and thoughtful examination on the role parks and green space play in the physical and economic health of neighborhoods and the people that live there, as well as the role that commercial real estate can play in improving equitable access to both in what is known as the “Southern Gateway” of Dallas, Texas. Local experts will discuss current initiatives, such as the deck park spanning I-35E, between Ewing and Marsalis Avenues, as well as the importance of future development opportunities designed to ignite sensible, positive environmental and economic change, with the ultimate objective of rejuvenating neighboring communities for the next generation.
