Multi-Family in MBTA Communities
Massachusetts faces a housing crisis as home and rental prices continue to increase. To ease the cost burden and crisis, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts issued new requirements for 175 MBTA Communities. The new law mandates at least one zoning district in which multi-family housing is allowed as-of-right. This will impact the 175 municipalities that surround the City of Boston and are served by the MBTA. Join us for an informative presentation and discussion on what the new requirements mean and what we are likely to see as a result. This event is hosted by ULI’s Housing and Economic Development Council.
