A Conversation of the Shoreline Project in North San José and Santa Clara County [In-Person Event]
South San Francisco Bay has been long known for its multi-colored salt ponds and for Santa Clara County’s Alviso Marina Park. The South San Francisco Bay Shoreline Project (Phase I) is a multi-agency partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Valley Water, and the State Coastal Conservancy that will construct approximately four miles of levees to reduce the risk of tidal flooding to the north San José area.
