
Many more NIMBY groups are fighting local development, often using social media to distribute false information, wild speculation and to stir up opposition and generate crowds at Public Hearings. But a project still needs to follow the steps needed for formal approvals of a project, like annexation, rezoning, land division, conditional use permits and site plan approvals, and TIF or other incentives. We will talk about how to combine needed approvals with managing public information flow.
