5th Annual Event – Leadership Lessons 360: Preparing for Industry Speaking Engagements

CREFC Women’s Network and ULI Los Angeles Women’s Leadership Initiative presents its 5th Annual joint event. Previously formatted as Speed Mentoring round tables, this milestone event will launch a new focus on enhancing the careers of women in commercial real estate finance and development through learning various leadership skills; thus the name change to “Leadership Lessons 360.” At this year’s launch, women will be able to learn firsthand from industry veterans on how to take on and prepare for technical speaking engagements.

We understand that speaking on a panel or giving a presentation can be daunting, and we want to empower women to willingly raise their hands to speak. Join us in a safe environment to learn pro presentation tips, observe a mock panel demonstration, and ask questions!

The event format will start off with 1) a panel of senior industry mentors sharing their ways of showcasing their expertise followed by 2) a volunteer mock panel* where mentors will provide feedback. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions during the feedback session to keep this an interactive experience.
