TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) Zero Waste projects are changing the conversation about waste by re-thinking everything that comes in and out of a facility from an upstream approach and viewing every material as a resource. TRUE asks businesses, campuses, and communities to go beyond recycling by reducing, reusing, rethinking, and redesigning their processes.

We’ll hear from Posty Cards and PrintForest in Kansas City, MO about how their facility successfully used strategies within the TRUE rating system to achieve zero waste as a small business. They are not only Kansas City’s first TRUE Platinum-certified facility, but also the first to receive the certification in the state of Missouri.
