Embodied carbon from construction materials and processes accounts for about 6% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions annually—roughly 370 million metric tons of CO₂e (USGBC & RMI). By reducing these embodied carbon emissions, we can help curb the effects of climate change, increase market value, and meet ESG commitments.
