Remade NoMad Prewar building meets high-tech life sciences hub
Join ULI New York’s Program Steering Committee on its tour of The CURE, considered one of New York City’s most innovative new projects. It comprises the conversion of a 1913 building—once known as The Armory—into a state-of-the-art vertical health campus. The Class A building, which opened in 2022 after a year-long renovation, now boasts 11 floors of lab-ready spaces for life science, digital health, and tech-enabled companies to collaborate or work privately alongside other innovators. Facilities and services within the building, in New York’s entrepreneurial “Silicon Alley,” include wet labs, dry labs, workplace zones, a rooftop multi-purpose space, and an educational facility.
Our tour will be hosted by Gensler, the architect behind the high-tech remake for key tenant and healthcare company Deerfield, for its new headquarters.
