Leadership in Sustainability

As old paradigms are challenged, a new road map emerges that is shaking up how we measure progress, who defines those indicators, and what and whom is missing from the leadership table as we work to raise the quality of life for all. Women in Green reminds us that each of us is a person of great influence. In fact, we are all “sheroes”: female heroes, women who display strong heroic traits under tremendous pressure and are triumphant over our circumstances.

A shift is occurring this season, and our green building sheroes are called on like never before. We urge women in our industry to stand up for what they believe in, stand up for others, speak their minds and work to pave the way for future generations of strong women. Our USGBC Florida community is promoting this shift by hosting four Women in Green events throughout 2021 on leadership in Sustainability, Health & Wellness, Resilience and Equity. This first one is Leadership in Sustainability.
