Real Estate Finance – FP&A, Analyst Full Time

The Real Estate (“RE”) Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) group performs analysis and supports financial reporting for Blackstone’s real estate segment and strategic business initiatives. The RE FP&A Analyst will contribute to and work with the broader RE business in a number of key areas, which include:

• Preparing the RE business financial forecast and weekly reporting to Corporate Finance for senior management
• Conducting financial modeling of our various real estate equity and debt investment businesses
• Coordinating the collection, analysis, and delivery of key metrics, including those relating to fundraising, capital deployment and realizations data across the business
• Drafting and creating presentations for senior management, including the RE CFO
• Partnering in the preparation of RE strategic plans, new business analysis, and ad hoc analyses in coordination with Investor Reporting, Valuations, Operations, Asset Management and Portfolio Management teams
• Supporting the Blackstone Corporate Finance and investor relations teams during the quarterly earnings process
• Involvement with Blackstone SEC financial reporting, including the preparation of quarterly filings
• Leading and assisting with special projects for the RE business

The successful candidate must have:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with strong GPA
• 1+ years of related experience (FP&A or management reporting experience preferred)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented
• Collaborative team player
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint; Essbase and Anaplan reporting skills a plus
• Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects
• Possesses a strong work ethic, professional integrity, a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellence
• Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
