This Real Estate Analyst – Seniors Housing & Healthcare will support the branch originators and top producing Berkadia Mortgage Banker with complex commercial mortgage deals and could include assisting with the marketing of our products and services to potential customers and interacting with the borrowers through the underwriting process.
- Review and analyze the current and historical income and expense of a property as well as additional and relevant information to determine valuation and cash flow of the asset.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel strongly recommended for these tasks and the role.
- Prepare loan submission for lenders which includes writing a narrative report recommending, justifying, and describing not only the loan request but also the relevant and supporting information.
- Generate questions for Client based upon the submission and research, analyze, and provide additional information on request.
- Assist in soliciting bids from companies and proposals approved for the provision of the Appraisal, Engineering and Phase I Environmental Reports.
- Assist in reviewing Draft copies of the Appraisal, Engineering and Phase I Reports.
- Assist in Pipeline entry.
- Compile market research data and maintain database of information.
- Interact with the Mortgage Bankers, Underwriters, and Clients throughout the underwriting and closing process
- Assist branch originators in their marketing of company products and services
- Perform Balance Sheet and REO Analysis for Principals of transaction.
- Other duties as assigned
- Some travel required

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- One to three years prior experience in a similar position.
