In your role as Asset Management Analyst you support Asset Managers in optimally managing an investment portfolio. You are part of the office & retail team in the Netherlands. In addition to working with the Asset Managers, you also work with the Financial Controllers and the Technical Director who work on the same portfolio, as well as with the external Property Managers.
The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for:
- Supporting the Asset Manager in creating Asset Business Plans with associated cash flow forecast (IRR calculations) and budgets for the assets in the portfolio;
- Responsible for processing the budgets in the administrative system (Yardi) and making various analyses;
- Responsible for processing and analyzing data from the Property Manager, including budget vs. actuals;
- Preparing reports to Fund management for large or challenging assets;
- Verifying rental data and supporting the Asset Manager in checking external valuations (every quarter);
- Providing ad hoc analyses such as analysing the impact of certain decisions on the expected return/risk ratio of an asset;
- Supporting the Asset Manager in activities aimed at (re)letting and contract extension, including appointing and managing external brokers, with the aim of being able to independently carry out small-scale letting under the supervision of the Asset Manager in the long term;
- Supporting the Asset Manager with special projects such as renovations and repositionings, as well as supporting the approval requests for such projects for the Fund Management and the Investment Committee.
