The Prologis Summer Internship Program offers students of diverse educational backgrounds the opportunity to secure work experience within their field of study. Over a course of 10-12 weeks, our interns will get to collaborate on various significant projects that impact Prologis’ business landscape. Students will have the opportunity to interact and connect with leaders within the company and build workplace acumen through various seminars and Q&A sessions. Regardless of their assigned departments, interns will have access to local market tours in order to fully comprehend Prologis’ business and how their summer contributions impact the end product.

Internship Opportunity: Real Estate Operations
Location: Chicago, IL
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support Market Data Analysis: Assist in gathering, tracking, and analyzing market data related to leasing activity, rent trends, starts, and absorption to provide insights for real estate operations.
- Assist with Lease Management and Market Analysis: Aggregate market lease comparisons and assist in conducting ad hoc lease analyses to support competitive transaction evaluations.
- Perform Property Marketing Activities: Includes marketing to brokers and customers, developing presentations and assisting in writing lease proposals.
Assist with Internal Communications: Gain exposure to other departments by providing reporting, market and other relevant information to various internal practice groups, including Acquisition, Development, Disposition, and Valuations. - Participate in Data Analytics and Reporting Projects: Support data analytics initiatives by conducting historical studies of market statistics, setting up new data collection formats, and working on unit vacancy and property characteristics projects.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: ability to draft informative and succinct communications to customers; attain information during customer visits; and coordinate customer visits and events.

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (rising junior or senior) or graduate program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- For technical roles: experience with relevant tools such as Argus, Tableau, R, Java, SQL, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or similar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity
- Motivated by curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Creative mindset and openness to tackling new challenges
