- Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of securitizations and other bespoke asset-backed financings
- Build securitization cashflow models and perform diligence and credit analysis on underlying collateral
- Assist in the construction of screening materials and investment memos for internal investment committees
- Key point of contact with rating agencies, valuation agents, and third party service providers
- Responsible for coordinating across various internal teams, including legal, accounting, and operations teams on transaction execution
- Provide ongoing support in conjunction with risk and operations teams to monitor and surveil investments for reporting and sensitivity analysis
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
- 2-4 years of experience in cashflow modeling and documentation of CLO or ABS securitizations, warehouse, and asset-backed financings; experience in multiple asset classes a plus
- Strong understanding of rating agency process and methodologies for securitizations, prior interactions with rating agencies preferred
- Knowledge or familiarity with insurance investment management a plus
- Strong capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint, VBA; Intex and Bloomberg experience a plus
- Proactive self-starter with high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and motivation
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
