As an Intern/working student you will be part of the European investment team benefitting from a wide range of learning opportunities. You will work on numerous strategies depending on the priorities of the period.
Essential Duties:
- Analyze and underwrite European real estate investment opportunities through detailed financial analyses of real estate assets including, but not limited to the following: discounted cash flow analysis, time-weighted returns, leveraged and unleveraged IRRs, equity multiples, promote calculations, and other various financial and performance measurement metrics. - Support Asset Management with a variety of tasks e.g. quarterly valuations, leasing approvals, review commercial contracts, business plans, investor reporting
- Conduct European wide market research in various real estate sectors to achieve a high level of knowledge on market fundamentals such as rental rates, occupancy, supply/demand, capital market trends, and transaction activity
- Support with building financial real estate models
- Participate in transaction due diligence
- Assist with the preparation of investment memorandums and presentations
- Provide support to Portfolio Management and Dispositions initiatives.
- Additional duties, as assigned.
- Affinius Capital seeks a candidate for a period of 5 months with the possibility to extend into a permanent position.
Requirements
- Near finalized MSc degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field (minimum requirement is a completed BSc)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent English
- Must be willing to work on-site
- Must have appropriate work authorization to work in the Netherlands
- Working students will be compensated a fair hourly wage, in line with market practice.
